Kimberleigh’s Journey
Before Pilates, I always struggled with posture and low back pain, even from a young age. I come from a tall family and my long torso has provided a challenge despite a relatively athletic natural physique. In high school my mother suggested I enrol in Pilates with the hope that it might help with these issues.
Not long after beginning my Pilates practice, my posture had significantly improved and that nagging lower back pain had subsided. But this was only the beginning of my journey in discovering the full benefits of Pilates as both a complete mind and body practice.
It wasn’t until I was out of high school and working a full-time job that I realized how therapeutic the Pilates classes I was still taking two to the three times a week really were. In fact they were truly my happiest times of the week. I felt much calmer and more balanced leaving the class, this positivity affected my home life too.
While I was already experiencing the many benefits of Pilates in my own life I had never considered actually becoming a Pilates Instructor myself until one day, at the suggestion and inspiration of my then instructor and soon to be mentor, I took the plunge into helping share this life changing practice with others.

The power of movement and its many benefits became everything to me. I continue to share these positive aspects with my clients. I teach Pilates out of a deep and personal commitment to improve people’s lives, just as it improved my own. I choose to teach Pilates in its purest form with a modern approach, improving my client’s bodies and minds. I am attracted to the ease and power of movement that can be achieved with Pilates exercises, which combine anatomy and mindfulness in a way that is uniquely effective.
My wish is to help people achieve a state of physical self-awareness so that they can have greater body movements and freedom. What we do in the studio helps with everything you do out there. I train clients of all ages and fitness levels in a group or private setting with an emphasis on slow, controlled and continuous body movements.
